Today’s customers expect a great buying experience. Smart Seal Foam Insulation, Inc. sets the standard of excellence in the industry in North Central Texas. We are dedicated to helping you build a strong, well-insulated building. Your success is our business, and we are here to help you every step of the way. Smart Seal manufactures spray foam wall insulation, roofing spray foam insulation, and specialty coatings that are used for thermal and moisture protection, waterproofing, abrasion resistance, other applications. We do not have a per square foot rate – we customize each estimate specific to your project’s energy needs to accomplish less heat/cold gain and transference.

Smart Seal Foam Insulation, Inc. installs spray-applied polyurethane foam for commercial, industrial, agricultural or residential projects. Our estimators travel to your location to determine which of our products are best for your specific project: open-cell (0.5 #), closed-cell spray foam (2.0#), or roofing foam (2.7#) insulation. At Smart Seal, our professionals can determine the best insulation material solution to meet your insulation and energy efficiency needs. All insulations do not perform the same because there are three forms of heat transfer – convection, conduction, and radiation. Let us help you make an informed decision about which insulation is best for your project.

Outside cold or heat can transfer through walls by six different methods of transference. Spray foam insulation blocks all six of the following methods: conduction, convection, radiation, air infiltration, air intrusion, and moisture accumulation. R-value, the traditional measure of an insulation’s effectiveness, measures only one of these six mechanisms. Spray foam insulation effectively blocks all six heat transfer methods. R-value alone is not the answer. Heat loss or gain can occur through any element of the building envelope (wall, floor, or roof/ceiling) by three primary mechanisms: conduction, convection, and radiation. In addition, three secondary mechanisms can influence the heat/loss gain by affecting insulation effectiveness: air infiltration, air intrusion, and moisture accumulation.

For example, in a barndominium, a hybrid option of both open and closed-cell spray foam would be applied. While open-cell is a better fit for most homes, as it is softer and will move with your home as it settles and will also help to dampen noises from the outside.

Smart Seal closed-cell foam enhances the total building envelope to provide sustainability, durability, energy efficiency and improved occupant comfort. Closed-cell foam is used mainly in a metal building or pole barn and spray applied at a minimum of two inches on the roofline to alleviate condensation issues. Smart Seal Foam offers standard, premium and paint options. Our Premium package includes stuffing the R-panels, to prevent debris and animals from nesting, and flashing the beams with a light coat for a uniform finish. Once your metal building has spray foam insulation, painting your foamed surfaces will protect f from the Ultra-violet (UV) damage. Over time, UV-rays deteriorate the closed-cell spray foam. Let our spray foam insulation installers can turn your metal building into a showroom. An example of options are listed below:

Option 1 – 1″ of closed cell foam will reduce heat transfer by 84% and will increase racking strengthen in the building to 330-400% when used in wall cavities (according to National Association of Home Builders).

Option 2 – 2″ of closed cell foam will reduce an average of 89% in heat transfer and will prevent condensation issues if the building is heated or cooled, and the foam will have a more uniform appearance.

The paint option will brighten the shop and prevent the foam from darkening since it will be exposed to UV rays due to the many roll-up doors and windows. Our spray foam contractors will always leave your project neat and clean.

Smart Seal has the only true seamless roofing system. When it comes to protection against natural disasters, spray foam roof, and wall systems have shown remarkable resistance to high wind uplift and blow-off; a characteristic attributed to spray foam’s strong adhesions, lack of fasteners, and monolithic (absence of joints or edges) as well as improves the thermal envelope. We can restore your roof for a fraction of the cost of replacement. Our green roofing system, properly maintained, can last a lifetime.

Our goal is to provide a seamless experience from the customers’ initial phone call to set up a free estimate, to the last phone call with a customer satisfaction survey. Spray foam insulation prevents air leakage and acts as an air barrier blocking not only air infiltration but also pollutants, dust, odors, and allergens. This will create a healthier interior environment for your family and improve the structural strength of your building. The studs, joists, and sheeting are bonded together creating optimum structural strength. Spray foam is durable and will not shrink, settle, or disintegrate over time.
